The Trip West

 

Val, Shelley and I went to Western Australia.....

It took us two days to drive across the Nullarbor. There's one stretch that is 185 km dead straight - no bends at all.

The country gets quite arid going North, but there are some nice big rivers.

The road conditions change and so does the vegetation.

We didn't make it into Purnalulu, the Bungle Bungles. The creeks were still running, the last ford we attempted was over my knees, just a bit too deep for safety.
